'14 Jeep Patriot Design

Not only does the '14 Patriot have great performance, but it has a great interior and exterior to match.  The bottom of the line is the Patriot Sport and it will include new front seat-mounted side air bags, electronic stability control with roll mitigation, Hill-start Assist, anti-lock brakes, fog lamps, a 60/40 fold-flat rear seat, a rear window wiper, a tilt steering column, cruise control, illuminated cup holders and a removable and rechargeable flashlight.

The Lattitude is the middle of the line and it includes power windows, door locks and heated outside mirrors, illuminated keyless entry, 17-inch aluminum wheels, front heated cloth seats, automatic climate control, rear disc brakes and much more.

The top of the line Limited includes the new 6-speed automatic, plus leather upholstery, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, driver's seat manual lumbar adjust, a leather-wrapped parking brake handle, a six-way power driver's seat, automatic temperature control and more.

Powering the 2014 Jeep Patriot


When it comes to power, the 2014 Patriot has two engines which powers the vehicle.  Both the engines are I4 engines, but the first one is a  2.0 liter that creates 158-horsepower with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel-drive.  The next one is a 2.4 liter that produces 172 horsepower and 165 pound feet of torque, and it mated to the 5-speed manual with front-wheel drive. It has dual variable-valve timing on both intake and exhaust camshafts to help optimize torque, power, smoothness and fuel economy.  The new 6-speed automatic will be optional on the base Sport and standard on Latitude and Limited models
